The Church of Second Chances is a faith-based youth program located in Toledo, Ohio, dedicated to serving at-risk youth and those involved in the Lucas County Juvenile Justice System. Our mission is through faith, mentorship, and community support, to help justice-involved and at-risk youth transform their lives and reclaim their future. We believe in the power of second chances—and we’re here to walk with each young person toward a brighter, purpose-filled future.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

Community Service Hours
Many of our youth need to complete court-ordered community service hours. We offer community service opportunities Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am-1pm and 5pm-6:30pm at Vision Church.
Our Mission
To provide a place for juveniles who are at-risk and/or a part of the Lucas County Juvenile Justice System to get a second chance at life and to meet God.
Our Vision
By providing services and spiritual direction, our goal is to reduce the rate of recidivism at the Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center, and to foster positive relationships with the youth upon their release and/or while they are on probation.
